Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the In This House We Believe website and custom yard-sign products. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
We provide an online designer and storefront for custom plastic yard signs. Designs you create are printed and fulfilled through third-party production partners. Product availability, sizes, and pricing may change without notice until you complete checkout.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to place an order. If you use the site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
3. Custom orders and content
- You are solely responsible for the text and design choices you submit.
- You represent that your content does not infringe others' rights and is not unlawful, harassing, or otherwise prohibited.
- We may refuse or cancel orders that appear fraudulent, abusive, or that violate these Terms or applicable law.
- Because products are customized, you should review the live preview carefully before paying. Minor differences between on-screen preview and printed output (color, font rendering, finish) can occur.
4. Pricing and payment
Prices are shown at checkout and charged in the currency displayed. Payment is processed by Stripe. Orders are not confirmed until payment succeeds. Taxes and shipping (if any) are as presented at checkout.
5. Shipping and risk of loss
Estimated production and delivery windows are not guarantees. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier, except where prohibited by law. You are responsible for providing a correct shipping address.
6. Returns, cancellations, and refunds
Custom printed goods are generally non-returnable. You may request cancellation before production begins; approval is not guaranteed. For manufacturing defects or shipping damage, contact us within 14 days of delivery with documentation. Approved remedies may include replacement or, at our discretion, a refund. Change-of-mind returns after printing are not offered.
7. Intellectual property
The site, branding, software, and original design tools are owned by In This House We Believe or its licensors. You retain rights in the original text you provide. You grant us a limited license to reproduce your design solely to fulfill your order and operate the service.
8. Disclaimers
THE SITE AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Outdoor durability depends on weather, mounting, and care.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO AN ORDER WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THAT ORDER.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless In This House We Believe and its partners from claims arising out of your content, misuse of the site, or violation of these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections apply in your place of residence. Venue for disputes shall be in state or federal courts located in Texas, unless prohibited by law.
12. Changes
We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
